ANTI-PROPAGANDA
We support a Constitutional Amendment for the Anti Propaganda Act.
TRUTH IN NEWS ACT
Any program, television, radio, cable, podcast claiming to be or portrayed to be a major news organization must pass rigorous certification and take an oath to tell the truth. Journalists must pass polygraph that they never engaged in fake news, misleading information.
ACTORS IN NEWS ACT
Only certified journalists or reporters may be hired as hosts. Guests must acknowledge AND disclose they are NOT experts and when stating opinions must disclose LOUD AND CLEAR as opinions.
ENTERTAINMENT/OPINION SHOWS
Any non journalist show to be labeled, listed as entertainment OR opinion and NOT actual news and may NOT use the word NEWS in their logo, slogan, advertisement or on any guide. Any show previously posing as news which were an opinion or entertainment show are disqualified from certification and shall not receive a broadcasting license.
INFLUENCE ACT
Any influential person including Journalists, Politicians, Judges may not participate in opinion or entertainment shows which call themselves news who are not certified and licensed as news.
