PRESIDENTIAL PARDONS

PARDON OF PRESIDENTS CABINET

President of the United States may NOT pardon any person who was appointed by the President or serving the President during the term of that President.

PARDONS OF OTHER POLITICIANS

President may not pardon any person who was serving during their current or previous presidential term. President may not pardon the preceding President of the immediate previous term of the current President.

BASIC PARDONS

President may not Pardon a person who was convicted of a violent crime unless the evidence in the original case does not comply with current standards of evidence or evidence exists which shows reasonable doubt of that conviction.

JUSTICE DEPARTMENT

Independent of politicians
President may not pardon individuals working for the FBI who were working w the FBI during the term(s) of that President or the previous president’s term.
